Bark & Buddy Club was founded by James Murtagh, a lifelong dog lover, events expert, and the proud human behind Ellie and Heidi — the Doberman duo who inspired it all.
For James, dogs have always been more than pets. They’re companions, motivators, and the spark behind countless conversations and friendships. After countless walks, hikes and beach trips, he noticed something powerful: dogs naturally bring people together. Strangers chat. Owners bond. Communities form without even trying.
But there was no place where that connection lived. No club. No movement. No space designed for dog lovers to meet, socialise, and share the joy of life with their dogs....So James built one.
Our mission is simple: to make every community feel more connected, more dog‑friendly, and more joyful — one walk, one event, and one wagging tail at a time!
